Scotland offers the kayaker Britain’s finest white water; the remoteness of the rivers and the variety of water make this a very special week. Throughout the course we’ll take in some of the classic sections of water whilst developing your style and giving you a real taste of adventure kayaking. The course includes half board bunk house accommodation in the Fort William area.
What it will cover: Sample program
Monday Fitting equipment & boats, outline of week & action plans
Tuesday The classic Spean gorge section, a local gem with lots of interest
Wednesday Water falls and steep creaking day – Etive
Thursday A day on the Roy – possible the upper and the gorge sections
Friday River trip to depend on priorities of the group and energy levels
Who it's for:
1-5th November (Beginner week) - You need to be a confident paddler on grade 2 white water with a good roll to get the most from this course.
8-12th November (intermediate week) - You will require a good level of fitness and experience on grade 3 as this is an intensive course on grade 3/4 water.

What you'll need:
We supply all the equipment you require, but you're welcome to bring your own boat and kit if you have it. You will need to bring along warm layers to paddle in, fleece material and wool are the best.
You will also need to bring a sleeping bag, clothes, towel and wash bag.
