1. Whats so great about working on the water?

I can’t remember a time when i did not love the water. It puts me in a great state of mind and i love every minute i get to be in a boat.

2. How did you get into the outdoors?

I was very unsure of what to do on leaving college and after travelling for a year became enthralled with outdoor adventure activities. I was fortunate to gain a place in Ambleside on their Outdoor studies and Environmental Science Degree. I made great friends have not wanted to do anything else since.

3. whats the best bit of working with Liquid Logistics

Its been great to start something i feel very proud of but the people make all the difference. Over the years we have been able to include a talented group of staff who i know get just as much out of working for us and they contribute to what we do.

4. Kayaking or Canoeing?

Kayaking for excitement and canoeing for picnics and family

5. Most memorable paddling experience?

I have been to some incredible places with my boat. My most memorable experience remains learning to paddle on the Troutbeck in the Lake District. Dropping everything when ever there was water in the river and swimming more than kayaking on most trips.

6. One bit of advice?

Follow your passions
