There is something very special about having the Kayaking skills to tackle waves and currents in a small boat. Throughout the course we’ll take in some of the classic sections of White Water whilst developing your confidence, style and giving you a real taste of adventure Kayaking.

White Water improver courses are over 5 days and take place in Scotland through the Autumn and Winter. Groups can book a private course or hire a coach if you and your group have all your own equipment.

White Water improver courses are open to paddlers who can confidently paddle on flat water. We recommend you have some experience of moving water (3 hour intro in Hampshire) just so you know what’s involved and are sure this course is for you. We supply all the equipment you require, but you’re welcome to bring your own boat and kit if you have it.

Scotland Improver White Water Course

Britain’s finest White Water; the remoteness of the Rivers and the variety of water make this a very special week. This 5 day White Water course includes half board bunk house accommodation in the Fort William area.

Monday           Fitting equipment & Kayaks, basic skills and trouble shooting
Tuesday          The classic Spean gorge section, a local gem with lots of interest
Wednesday    Waterfalls and steep creaking day – Etive
Thursday        A day on the Roy – possibly the upper and the gorge sections
Friday               River trip; to depend on priorities of the group and energy levels
