Earlier this year we spent time in Hawaii, and one word stood out above everything else: Kuleana. It’s the idea of taking responsibility for the places you move through — acting with respect, care, and intention.


As sea kayakers, that landed immediately. Every paddle stroke along the South Coast feels like a reminder that these waters are incredible, fragile, and worth looking after.


Bringing Kuleana into Liquid felt natural. It reflects who we are, how we paddle, and the culture we want to lead on our coastline.
